Empowering Artistic Projects in Charlotte
ArtWalks CLT connects the community to murals, public art, and street art in Charlotte through self-guided digital artwalks, a comprehensive map of public art sites in Mecklenburg County, and creative placemaking events. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we are dedicated to supporting and promoting public art.
What is Fiscal Sponsorship?
Our Fiscal Sponsorship Program enables individuals, creative collectives, and businesses that are not registered nonprofits to qualify for and accept grant funds requiring a 501(c)(3) status. ArtWalks CLT will accept grant funds and distribute them to you for your project, charging a nominal fee for this service.
The Fiscal Sponsorship Program is mutually beneficial as it allows applicants to access essential grant funding and administrative task support, enabling them to execute their creative projects. For ArtWalks CLT, it expands our network of public art initiatives, and financially supports our operations, enhancing our mission to connect the community with vibrant, accessible art throughout Charlotte.
Who can apply/what projects are eligible?
Individuals, creative collectives, and businesses can apply for fiscal sponsorship for projects that align with the ArtWalks CLT mission to support and promote public art by connecting the community to murals, public art, and street art in Charlotte.
How It Works
Join us in our mission to connect the community through art. Together, we can make Charlotte a more vibrant and creative city for all.
